Hi, my name is Austin. In 2022, at just 22 years old, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with stomach adenocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of gastric cancer.

Since then, I have endured countless hospital visits, chemotherapy sessions, and major surgeries in the hope of overcoming this disease. At one point, doctors had to remove my entire stomach in a total gastrectomy to give me the best possible chance.

 Today, I am receiving palliative care. While there is no cure for my condition, the goal of my treatment is to give me the best quality of life possible, helping me manage pain and live with dignity.
